Regency Capital Partners (“RCP”) arranged construction financing for Cavallo Point-The Lodge at the Golden Gate, a 142-room resort and conference center located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, California. Boasting majestic views of the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco skyline, the project included the historic rehabilitation of 23 buildings for lodging and meeting rooms around the main Parade Ground and the construction of 11 small “green” lodging buildings. RCP was able to secure a $49,000,000 non-recourse construction loan with a 5-year mini-perm from one of the nation’s leading banks, the first non-recourse hotel construction loan done by this financial institution in recent history. Moreover, RCP’s depth and experience with tax credits was integral in assisting the client in raising an additional $10,000,000 in historic tax credit equity.
