Summary

Regency Capital Partners (“RCP”) arranged acquisition financing for the sale/leaseback of this 435,000 square foot, Class A office/R&D building for Delphi Corporation, the world’s largest auto parts manufacturer. With Delphi in the midst of bankruptcy, RCP was forced to work with the NY Supreme Court and Delphi’s top executives to help materialize this acquisition, which closed in less than 45 days. Despite a struggling Detroit economy, and a tenant in Chapter 11, RCP was able to secure its West Coast based client a 75% loan to cost at a rate of less than 6.50%.
