Summary

Regency Capital Partners (RCP) arranged the refinancing for this 181,000 SF, six property, No. California portfolio of Mi Pueblo grocers, one of the state's largest Hispanic grocery chains. Mi Pueblo peaked at over $350 million in revenues in 2012 but soon faced a series of unfortunate events which lead to its BK filing in 2013. After re-capitalization, the chain has emerged from bankruptcy and begun its turnaround. RCP secured non-recourse, fixed rate financing at nearly half the cost of the outstanding debt-in-place, taking out the entirety of the costly DIP financing, providing much needed liquidity and significantly cheaper capital for the firm's founders.
