Mr. Soffer has over twenty years of experience in real estate finance and formed Regency Capital Partners in 2006. As Principal, he is responsible for developing and maintaining the firm's relationships with borrowers as well as managing the day-to-day origination, analysis, and placement of real estate debt and equity nationwide.

Prior to forming Regency Capital Partners, Mr. Soffer was the Director of the San Francisco Capital Markets Unit at Cohen Financial; prior to that he acted as a Director at E.S. Merriman & Sons. Mr. Soffer joined George Smith Financial/Grubb & Ellis in 1986 in the San Francisco office where he originated approximately $1.5 billion of financings.

Mr. Soffer earned his B.A. degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and his LLM (Master of Laws) from the University of San Diego. He is a graduate of the California Western School of Law and is a member of the State Bar of California. Mr. Soffer also holds a State of California real estate broker license.
